Over the last few days I have had the pleasure of meeting long distance swimmer Anna Wardley and her incredible team, as she attempted to swim round the Isle of Tiree.
That’s one brave women.
She gave it a damn good try, completing 20 of the 30 miles in day one and a goodly chunk of the remainder in day 2. Sadly the Gunna Sound and a turning tide won in the end.
Anna was swimming in support of three charities – you can find out more and donate here: http://www.annawardley.com/
Her next challenge is to swim round the Isle of Wight. Hopefully, for her sake, there will be fewer jelly fish, kinder tides and a couple more degrees of warmth.
